I cannot tell you how truly amazing Brick-Anew is!! After years of looking at my dark and dated fireplace, I made the decision to paint it. I had not been a fan of “painted brick” and had put off the decision for a long time since most painted fireplaces I had seen were plain and uninspiring. I went online to research what type of paint I would need to properly paint the brick and that’s when I found Brick-Anew! Of course, the pictures looked amazing, but I didn’t believe that my fireplace would turn out as well as the ones on the website. Boy was I proven wrong!!! Not only am I pleased with the results, but it was a fun process. Brick-Anew gave me everything I needed right out of the box including paint rollers and brushes. Thought I would let you know, our fireplace turned out great! When the kit arrived, my husband made a very derogatory comment about redoing the fireplace. My son’s girlfriend and I watched the video on Friday night and got up on Saturday morning and started the process. By 5:00 p.m. on Saturday night the transformation was done and it looked like a brand new fireplace. In fact, one of our old friends dropped by to see our new room (as we had just remodeled) which is why I knew we had to do something with the fireplace). Just wanted to let you know I finally finished my fireplace makeover. I procrastinated for about 6 months because it looked like a difficult project. Have to tell you that I had nothing to fear…in fact I was really enjoying it as I got more comfortable over time and saw results with each step. We have had several maintenance and home improvement contractors in our home since our move last week and they all thought that we had re-surfaced the fireplace with new brick. It is remarkable! The variegated colors and pattern created by Brick-Anew effectively camouflage the most obvious of man-made surfaces to the look of totally natural materials. We were seriously thinking about re-surfacing the fireplace with stone, but the painting has proven to be so satisfactory that the brick is now more novel than any stone application would likely be.

Hi. I wanted to give you an update on applying your product to my extremely ugly fireplace. I was struggling with what the heck to do with this ugly fireplace as I was in the process of remodeling the area where the fireplace was located. I talked with all sorts of people and no one had any good ideas for the fireplace. I searched the web and found your website. I’m sure glad I did. I must admit, I was reluctant to try this product simply because I generally quite skeptical about product claims such as yours. Most of the time, I find that products that claim miraculous results don’t deliver. In the case of Brick-Anew, nothing could be farther from the truth. YOUR PRODUCT DELIVERS EXACTLY AS IT IS DESCRIBED. I applied the taupe color of Brick-Anew a couple of weeks ago and I’m absolutely amazed at the finished product. IT WAS AN EASY PROCESS TO COMPLETE IN SEVERAL HOURS JUST AS YOU DESCRIBE. As other customers have said, my fireplace went from an eyesore to the showpiece of the room. It’s absolutely stunning. I recently moved into a 1976 home with a large brick fireplace. I tried a number of different things in the room, but nothing looked right. My story is an oft-repeated one, I’m sure. Having lived in our home since 1969, it was long overdue for a facelift. The house was built in the early 20’s and it is a Dutch Colonial in style. The living room featured a traditional red brick fireplace and I didn’t think I could stand looking at it one more minute. I wanted to update the look of it , but I also didn’t want it to have a “painted over” look. I had something in mind, but I didn’t even know if anything existed that would help me create the look I wanted. So I turned to the internet and searched until a company called Brick-Anew came up. There were many very complimentary statements being made with lots of satisfied customers, but one in particular caught my attention. It was on Bob Vila’s website , a very popular personality in our area (the Northeast), and since I value his opinion, I took a look at your website and was “hooked”. Everything I saw convinced me that this was the answer to my problem. I purchased the twilight taupe kit and when it arrived, I got to work. It was not only easy to do but was fun to do as well. The fireplace facelift was the first thing in the living room that my husband and I tackled because it became the inspiration for the rest of the room. I absolutely loved the whole process and the results took my breath away. Our living room has brought gasps of amazement from family and friends because it looks like we had a visit from “Queer Eye of the Straight Guy”! To think that we owe it all to Brick-anew. We want to say a big thank you for transforming our fireplace into something so beautiful! We have lived in our house for over 25 years and have HATED the ugly, smoky, dirty, stained brown brick fireplace and kept it hidden with lots of plants! We had checked into possibly putting in tile, new brick, or even painting it, but did not want it to look like a “painted” brick fireplace. We knew it would be an expensive process. I was looking on the internet for a solution one day when I came across Brick-Anew on your website. The before/after pictures gave us hope at last! We ordered the misty harbor kit and were pleased that it was not expensive and that it had everything we needed and more! The paint flows on and is very smooth and just the right consistency. We didn’t even use all the paint. We started one morning and spent about 3 hours working on it and finished it the next morning. The video was very helpful! We watched the video 3 times to make sure we were doing all the steps correctly. It was very easy to follow and we had fun doing it! Everyone who sees it is amazed at how great it looks and thinks it’s a new fireplace. It is truly beautiful and makes our living room look so much nicer! Because with the Brick-Anew is multi-colored, the paint on the walls even blends in. We are so very pleased with the results and have been recommending it to everyone.
