My name is Shane and I recently purchased your product (about 3 weeks ago) to use on my living room fireplace. Having recently moved into this house, I knew I would have to do something to it, as the previous owner had painted it a purple-ish color!!!!! My first thought was to resurface w/ tile, veneer stone or something along those lines, but was finding the cost factor hard to swallow. Therefore, I started researching on the net and found your site! Hesitantly, I purchased the Twilight Taupe because I figured it was a small price to pay for something that probably wouldn't work...however, w/ all the client testimonials, I felt surely there had to be something to this! Therefore, a couple of days ago, I started my project. Keep in mind, I did build out a hearth area to my existing fireplace with the left-over brick the previous owner had used as landscaping border (Heaven help me!) Needless to say, after the base coat, I thought to myself..."at least it looks better than purple!" Then, the second step lead to me muttering to myself that I couldn't believe how much better the fireplace looked just after that step! Come the third step, I was ready to quit as the results were even better than I imagined and I was afraid the next step would ruin it! Alas, the fourth step brought me even closer to pure satisfaction! Now, I talked myself into doing the last step and OH MY GOSH...I NEVER imagined my fireplace would look this awesome! As a Real Estate agent, I see my fair share of ugly fireplaces and believe it or not, it DOES affect the sale of a home from time to time. Now when I am with my buyer clients and we come across a home that is perfect in every way...except for that ugly fireplace, I'm going to pull out my own pictures and give them your web address!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you for saving me thousands of dollars from NOT having to redo my fireplace with tile or stone! I think you will agree from the attached pictures that your product MORE than delivered!
