How to Measure for Factory Built Fireplace Glass Doors

Using a steel tape measure, take measurements on all sides of the fireplace opening.
Measure the width at the top and bottom.
Measure the height on the left and right hand side - See illustration below.

This picture sent in by a customer is a perfect illustration of how to measure your factory built fireplace for doors. The customer has precisely measured the firebox opening (36" x 20") and from this measurement we will be able to make the right door. Note: UL requires fireplace glass doors to have a 1/8" gap for proper ventilation and cooling. When you get an email from us confirming your measurements, we will be taking this 1/8" gap into consideration.
