Do I need a Frame?

You will need a frame for your fireplace doors if your fireplace does not tracks or there is not replacement glass available for your model. Tracks come with many fireplaces and provide a channel for the fireplace doors to slide in. Tracks must have a clip in the track for the doors to pop into.

Frame Size and Finishes

Frame widths range from 3/4" to over 2" in width. The most popular color is black since most fireplaces are made of black metal.

Burning Real Wood?

If you are burning real wood we recommend you choose a tinted glass. Our tinted glass does a great job of hiding ugly ashes the morning after a fire.

Full Swing Bifold Door vs. Traditional Bifold Door

Full swing doors require less maintenance and actually come out of the track making it easy to clean the glass.

Unpacking Your Glass Fireplace Doors

Check the model number on the box, and check the color of your doors
Hold the frame up to your fireplace to make sure it will fit. Your box should contain:
Frame
Doors
Hardware Kit
Packing List.
Insulation (Only on masonry doors.)

How to Install Zero Clearance Fireplace Glass Doors

Put the brackets on the side panels.
Use the self tapping screws to secure your frame into the firebox opening.
Make sure your frame is even.
After you have secured the frame, put the glass into the frame to complete your fireplace door installation.

How to Measure for Factory Built Fireplace Glass Doors

Using a steel tape measure, take measurements on all sides of the fireplace opening.
Measure the width at the top and bottom.
Measure the height on the left and right hand side.
